Returning to the workplace after devoting yourself to caring can be daunting. VOCAL have engaged newfuture.me, an Edinburgh based career management consultancy, to deliver a really helpful programme designed to help you find your way back into work. The interactive sessions are designed not only to give you the practical tools and tips you need to find suitable roles, pull together a great CV and succeed at interviews, but also to adjust to returning to work.

How to complete a range of applications effectively. What you should focus on to get shortlisted.
Demystifying how to create a great CV to get ahead of the competition when applying for roles. It also covers any additional documentation, such as personal profiles you might require. What interviewers are looking for – tips, techniques and practical exercises to present yourself successfully. Prepare effectively for selection events. Understand interview structures and contents. Answer interview questions successfully and understand other types of assessments that employers use.
