This webinar supplies information on services and support available to carers, including how VOCAL can help you and the person you care for during Coronavirus.

Who is this online session for?
Anyone who provides unpaid care for someone else (over and above Coronavirus).
Outcomes of this online session
- An explanation of the situation for carers due to Coronavirus and some of the challenges carers now face.
- An insight into what is being done Nationally and Locally to support carers.
- An update on VOCAL’s support and services.
- Get information on how support and services in Edinburgh have changed due to COVID-19.
The presentation is 1.5 hours long (with a 10 min break). There will be 30 minutes at the end for carers to go into breakout rooms to chat to a Carer Support Worker about any questions or queries you have in relation to the session.
Rachel Sikahall, Carer Training Support Worker, VOCAL, VOCAL
Rachel trained in social work and has worked at VOCAL for 2 years and is the duty Carer Support Worker. Rachel speaks to a large number of carers over the working week and has a sound knowledge of the issues carers face.
