Caring for someone with dementia and your rights

This four week course delivered by Age Scotland and VOCAL will inform dementia carers on the rights they have and the support that is available to them. Carers will have the opportunity to meet other carers in a similar position and share experiences.
Duration: 4 weeks (29th October, 5th, 12th & 19th November)
Who is this online session for?
Carers who are caring for someone with dementia.
This event is open to carers residing in or caring for a person in Edinburgh only.
Outcomes of this online session
The course will cover the following information:
- Week 1 – The impact of caring and the right to have rights! (VOCAL).
- Week 2 – Your rights and the Carers (Scotland) Act (Age Scotland).
- Week 3 – Your rights and Hospital Admissions and Discharge (Age Scotland).
- Week 4 – Your rights and Self-Directed Support (Age Scotland).
