Dealing with anger

This workshop helps us to reflect on, process, and develop coping strategies for feelings of anger.

Who is this session for?
This event is open to carers residing in or caring for a person in Edinburgh only.

Outcomes of this session

We will:

  • Discuss the role and purpose of anger.
  • Look at the reasons why carers feel anger or frustration.
  • Explore anger through the ABC model.
  • Share how to develop healthy and positive ways to manage anger.

Rebecca Caulfield, Senior Carer Training Officer, VOCAL.
Rebecca has worked at VOCAL for 7 years and now manages the Carer Training programme at VOCAL. She runs a number of face to face and online courses for carers.

VOCAL is pleased to be able once again to offer a limited number of face to face training courses at the Edinburgh Carers Hub, 60 Leith Walk, EH6 5HB.

This session is limited to five places for physical distancing.

Face to face courses may be cancelled at short notice if indicated by new government guidance, if this is the case you will be booked onto the corresponding online session
