Emergency planning (Face to face)

A workshop on options for planning for an emergency. You will be supported to write a personalised Emergency Plan, which is important now more than ever.

Who is this session for?
This event is open to carers residing in or caring for a person in Edinburgh only.
Outcomes of this session
By the end of the session carers will have:
- Learnt what an Emergency Plan is and why it’s important to do one.
- Completed sections of the Emergency Plan.
- Discussed who to share it with, when to review it and where to keep it.
- Planned your next steps and where to get further help.
Aga Newsome, Carer Training Officer at VOCAL. Aga has recently joined the team at VOCAL, and comes with over 4 years’ experience of delivering training in the care sector. She runs a number of face to face and online courses for carers.
VOCAL is pleased to be able once again to offer a limited number of face to face training courses at the Edinburgh Carers Hub, 60 Leith Walk, EH6 5HB.
This session is limited to five places for physical distancing.
Face to face courses may be cancelled at short notice if indicated by new government guidance, if this is the case you will be booked onto the corresponding online session.
