Do you know the difference between therapy and therapeutic approaches? Choosing between the different kinds of emotional support can be daunting. Find out more about support and services available to help maintain your emotional wellbeing such as counselling, coaching, one to one or group support and alternative therapies.

Anyone who provides unpaid care for someone else (over and above Coronavirus).

Outcomes of this online session

  • An introduction to different therapeutic approaches including counselling, caching, individual and group support and alternative therapies.
  • Support and services to help you maintain your emotional wellbeing.

Tracy Cooper, Partnership Training Officer, VOCAL.
Tracy joined VOCAL recently from Scottish Book Trust delivering and developing training to its clients. As part of her role at VOCAL, Tracy also delivers Think CARER training to NHS staff in Lothian and promotes awareness of carers to employers in Edinburgh.
