About the event:
When the person you care for goes into residential care this can be a difficult time for everyone. In this workshop, we will explain the basics of care home fees and pensions. You will also learn about free personal and nursing care payments.
In this workshop, we will look at:
- Understanding how care home fees are assessed and calculated
- Other useful considerations for carers
- Frequently asked questions
- How and where to seek further help
Delivered by:
Rachel Davison, Training Officer at Age Scotland. Rachel delivers a range of dementia training courses to a broad range of groups and organisations.
