10:00 - 12:30
In its simplest form mindfulness is a mental training or life skill. The course aims to provide you with the tools to develop your own meditation practice and also to recognise thought patterns and learn to deal with them in a constructive way.
Duration: 9 weeks. Please note this includes a retreat on 19th November 10am – 4pm.
Who is this course for?
Carers who would like to reflect on and explore their life style, mood and stress levels.
What happens during a session?
During each session there will be input from an experienced mindfulness practitioner and teacher, then exercises and discussions to explore the ideas presented.
These ideas and the accompanying exercises will help carers to create a tool box of things they can use at home or other locations to help them cope with day to day life.
Handouts accompany each week and a collection of audio guided mediations and exercises is shared for use at home.
