Who is this course for?
Carers of adults who are supporting someone who struggles with decisions making perhaps due to learning disability, brain injury, stroke or dementia.
A session to look at formal methods of supporting someone who is unable to or has difficulty making decisions themselves including:
- The reasons behind why you want to support someone else with their decision-making.
- The process of Power of Attorney.
- The process of Guardianship.
- The option of being a Benefits Appointee.
