The festive time can be difficult for carers. Share experiences and find out what support and services are available during this period.

Duration: 1 week

Who is this session for?
Any carer who would like to reflect on the festive period and the changes that have happened since caring and some of the changes that may need to be made.

Outcomes of this session

  • Explore your feelings/emotions as we head into the festive period.
  • Discuss how this impacts on you and your role as a carer.
  • Explore support and services available and some Christmas survival tips that might work for you.

Rebecca has worked at VOCAL for 6 years and now manages the Carer Training programme at VOCAL. She runs a number of face-to-face and online courses for carers.

VOCAL is pleased to be able once again to offer a limited number of face to face training courses at the Edinburgh Carers Hub, 60 Leith Walk, EH6 5HB.

This session is limited to five places for social distancing.

Face to face courses may be cancelled at short notice if required by government guidance, if this is the case you will be booked onto the corresponding online session.
