About the event:

The Bike Station offers a community cycling programme called Shifting Gears.  Through this programme there are opportunities to receive a free refurbished bicycle, accessories including a helmet, lights and a lock, take cycling lessons with our experienced tutors, join group rides to discover new cycle routes around the city, and learn how to care for your bike with our basic maintenance classes.

At the Open Day you can meet our friendly team, learn about The Bike Station and what we do as a charity, join in fun taster activities, sign up to the programme, and even choose a bike! Tea, coffee, and cake will be provided.

Come along on Tuesday 28 June, between 1pm and 4pm.  People can stay as long as they wish but generally they come for 30-40 minutes.
