About the event:
An opportunity to learn about Parkinson’s. Share how it impacts you and meet other carers. In this session we cover the following:
- Have a better understanding of Parkinson’s
- Be able to identify challenges associated with living with Parkinson’s
- Be aware of various helpful techniques to support self and the person who lives with Parkinson’s
- Be aware of the resources available for further support
Aga Newsome, Carer Training Officer at VOCAL. Aga has recently joined the team at VOCAL, and comes with over 4 years’ experience of delivering training in the care sector. She runs a number of face to face and online courses for carers.
