If someone we care for is self-harming it can be distressing and confusing this session is designed to increase awareness and understanding of self-harm.

Who is this course for?
Carers supporting someone who is self-harming.

Weekly Breakdown
Join a mental health specialist to talk and increase your understanding of self-harm behaviours and how best to support someone who is self-harming or at risk of self-harm. Also learn about local services that can provide further support.

What carers will get from this course

  • An increased understanding of difficulties that can lead to self-harming.
  • An increased understanding of indicators of possible self harm.
  • Practical advice about how to raise concerns with the person you support and professionals.
