This session will help carers to explore the meaning and purpose of the feeling of guilt and manage guilt they experience.

This event is open to carers residing in or caring for a person in Edinburgh only.

Outcomes of this session

By the end of the course we will have explored:

  • The definition and purpose of guilt.
  • The reasons why carers feel guilt and how it affects them.
  • Tips and ideas on reducing feelings of guilt.

Rebecca Caulfield, Senior Carer Training Officer, VOCAL.
Rebecca has worked at VOCAL for 7 years and now manages the Carer Training programme at VOCAL. She runs a number of face to face and online courses for carers.

VOCAL is pleased to be able once again to offer a limited number of face to face training courses at the Edinburgh Carers Hub, 60 Leith Walk, EH6 5HB.
This session is limited to five places for physical distancing.
Face to face courses may be cancelled at short notice if indicated by new government guidance, if this is the case you will be booked onto the corresponding online session.
