Singing Groups
Singing is a great way to produce the feel-good factor!
The following groups are aimed at carers, with no experience or musical ability necessary – the only requirement is to come along and join in!

Singing groups for people with dementia and their carers
Circle Kinship Choir
Open to all carers and kinship carers, the group meets every Tuesday at the St George and St Andrews church on George Street (next to George Hotel) from 10am-12.

Pasda singing group
Meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month in the afternoon (2-3pm) at Morningside United Church, Holy Corner, EDINBURGH.

Edinburgh South West Carer Support Group
Join a VOCAL Carers Support Worker and other carers for coffee, cake and a chance to share experiences. The group will give carers a chance to take a break from caring and take the time to explore ideas like managing stress, mindfulness, accessing services and strategies to make caring easier.

Weekly meetings beginning Wednesday 17th August until 2nd November 2016

Lunch Breaks @ The Eric Liddell Centre
A group for carers to attend with the person they care for. We have a two-course lunch followed by activities such as singing, themed reminiscence, poetry & stories, tai chi, guest talks of interest, and more.
Open to carers and the cared for person to attend together. Many of those cared for are living with dementia, though the group is open to other care situations too.
