This event is open to carers residing in or caring for a person in Edinburgh only.

When: Tuesday 7 May, 11am – 1pm.

About the event:

Flower essences contain the energy from flowers and plants to help address emotional imbalances. In this workshop, we will look at essences which can support us with difficult feelings. Participants will have the opportunity to make up and take home an essence bottle specific to their needs.

Essences can support us with feelings such as overwhelm, worry, anger, grief, shock, lack of confidence, self-doubt, decision-making difficulties, guilt, resentment, low energy, loss of enthusiasm, sensitivity and lack of mental clarity and focus. Vibrational essences are liquid solutions made of the energetic imprint of flowers, plants, trees, crystals and other natural sources. They are taken orally and have a therapeutic effect on our personalities – supporting, strengthening, and empowering us so we are able to function at our optimum level. They awaken, resolve, and transform our emotional/mental attitudes or inner disharmony, enhancing our well-being on many levels.

Delivered by:

This workshop will be run by Maria Doherty. Maria is an advanced flower & vibrational essences practitioner and has worked in this modality since 2008. She has also qualifications in other complementary therapies such as Reiki, Metatronia and Indian Head Massage. Maria has worked as an occupational therapist for over 30 years and has recently retired. She specialises in working with children and young people with additional support needs.
